RiverTech picked for $34M Air Force training support contract

RiverTech LLC, a small business based in Colorado Springs, was picked by the Air Force to provide technical support for training and planning related to command and control systems under a $34.5 million contract.

The broad set of services include operational, technical and analytical expertise for planning and carrying out training and test events.

This includes conducting live-virtual-constructive and distributed mission operations activities, operational support, non-kinetic operations training and tactics development, and operational testing of command and control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.

Work will take place at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico and Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. The contract runs through March 25, 2024.

RiverTech was one of three bidders for the work.

The company is an 8(a) firm owned by Akima LLC and is an Alaska Native Corporation. RiverTech touts capabilities around space mission systems, C4ISR and C4IM and maritime operations, including systems engineering, mission domains and warfighter support.
