Leidos hires Raytheon vet Tim Freeman
Leidos hires Raytheon executive Tim Freeman as a senior vice president to work in the defense group.
Leidos said Tuesday it has hired former Raytheon executive Tim Freeman as senior vice president of business development and strategy for the defense group.
Freeman will lead strategic development, new business capture and financial strategies for the group that is Leidos’ largest business.
At Raytheon, he was director of business development for mission support and modernization with responsibility over business growth and capture strategies. His career at Raytheon also included roles such as director of ISR mission solutions; director of command, control and awareness; and business development ISR portfolio lead.
He is also a 27-year Air Force veteran whose senior roles during his military career included deputy program executive officer for space launch and last as military assistant to the branch’s assistant secretary for acquisition.
