Do you know how to manage through disruption?
In episode three of our Project 38 podcast, former SRA International executive David Kriegman discusses the principles your company must follow to thrive during a time of disruption.
We’ve published the latest episode of our Project 38 podcast, this time a conversation with former SRA International executive David Kriegman.
Kriegman and I discuss disruption in the market and how to manage and even thrive through a period of disruption.
Kriegman's perspective is forged during his years at SRA, when he helped take the company from less than $1 million in annual revenue to more than $1 billion. He even wrote a book about the experience: "Zero to A Billion."
From his viewpoint, the current disruption we are feeling in the market is nothing new. The federal market undergoes constant change.
Technology is a big driver of disruption, but so are changes in competition and in how the government buys.
The shift from mainframes to client-server was a major disruption. So were the advent of GWAC and IDIQ contracts. And who foresaw what a major competitor Amazon Web Services would become.
Some companies have weathered these changes well, but others not so much. Why?
Listen to Kriegman discuss the key principles and the attributes companies and executives should muster to survive and thrive during times of disruption.
And don’t forget to listen to our earlier episodes with Stan Soloway, former Professional Services Council president, on the "Market at the Crossroads;" and John Hillen, former Sotera Defense Solutions CEO, on "The Maturity of the Market."
