TWD names new VP of business development

TWD & Associates Inc. has appointed Cathy Simpson as vice president of business development.

She brings 25 years of experience in the federal market.

Her job will be to help TWD apply its capabilities against federal IT modernization opportunities.

“Cathy has a long and impressive record of successful business development with federal government customers across a broad range of technology solutions, with specific expertise in the Department of Homeland Security,” said Larry Besterman, president and CEO of TWD.

Before joining TWD, Cathy served as a senior member of the DHS sales and support team for Government Acquisitions Inc. She has also held senior sales roles with a focus on DHS for GTSI (now UNICOM Government), McDonald Bradley and CLMS.
