Steven Anderson joins Sallyport as chief growth officer

Retired Army Brig. Gen. Steven Anderson has joined Sallyport Global Holdings as the company’s new chief growth officer.

He’ll lead the company’s global mission support and security and risk management operations, Sallyport said.

Anderson served over three decades in the Army that included logistics, command and staff assignments in Korea, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Germany and Hawaii as well as four tours at the Pentagon.

More recently, he was Afghanistan country manager for Fluor Corp. Anderson led 6,300 employees in providing logistics to U.S. and NATO forces operating out of 11 bases in the country.

Sallyport provides a variety of logistics and mission support services to U.S. and allied military organizations. The company is based in Reston, Virginia.
