PlanetRisk wants back in on NGA logistics contract

PlanetRisk has filed a protest after being removed from consideration of a National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency contract for global logistics support.
A contract for a range of logistical services to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has hit a snag now that one competitor has filed a pre-award protest.
PlanetRisk has filed a protest with the Government Accountability Office because it has been excluded from the competitive range as the procurement moves forward.
The Expeditionary Support Services contract has not been awarded yet and PlanetRisk is challenging the evaluation that led to it being removed from consideration.
While NGA can continue to evaluate proposals, it is restricted from making an award until after the PlanetRisk protest is resolved. GAO has a deadline of July 20 to make a ruling.
The services under the contract include logistics planning, site management, armory services, and asset management. There also are emergency logistics requirements and crisis/contingency requirements.
The incumbent contractor is Advanced C4 Solutions Inc., according to Deltek.
The contract is being competed as a small business set-aside.
PlanetRisk is based in McLean, Virginia. Some of its services include enterprise risk analytics, geospatial predictive modeling, cloud solutions, Internet of Things, enterprise supply chain analytics and mission application development.
Some of its major contract vehicles include SeaPort-e, Alliant, OASIS and several blanket purchase agreements with the Defense Logistics Agency and the Army.
