DigitaliBiz has won a $45.3 million Navy contract to support polar research.

DigitaliBiz Inc. has won a $45.3 million contract with the Navy to support polar research.

The company will work with the Navy's's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic arm to support the Polar Programs Division of the National Science Foundation.

Rockville, Maryland-based iBiz will support scientific research, engineering and education in Antarctica.

The company will deliver and manage systems used for airspace management and control, operational meteorology, aviation ground systems and secure and compliant information systems.

Work will take place in Charleston, S.C., McMurdo Station in Antarctica and Christchurch, N.Z.

The company’s team includes Midwest ATC, Raytheon and AvMet. The contract was competed on a full-and-open basis.
