The Air Force released a draft solicitation for assisted support as its CIO standardizes IT tools and processes across the financial management enterprise.
The Air Force is seeking support for its financial management IT professionals to ensure they meet established policies and procedures regarding IT lifecycle management industry best practices, such as data quality standards, knowledge management, and IT portfolio management.
The Air Force’s financial management CIO created the Information Technology Lifecycle Management Library (ITLML) for the design and development of information systems and guiding financial management policies.
The solicitation is a total small business set-aside.
Task orders include developing:
- A project management plan to support the financial management CIO
- A portfolio transformation strategy
- A portfolio assessment reports
- A portfolio business process re-engineering strategy
In addition, projects would include managing and maintaining the ITLML project plan and defining and delivering messaging materials for support.
The Air Force released the draft proposal Feb. 8. Responses are due by Feb. 12.
