Risk and fraud concerns drive new RFI from DHS
DHS' Citizens and Immigration Services agency is looking for feedback on addressing risk, fraud and security in DevOps services.
The Homeland Security Department's Citizenship and Immigration Services agency is gathering feedback on needed risk, fraud, and development security and operations (DevSecOps) services.
USCIS' Office of Information Technology issued a request for information Jan. 11 as it plans for a contract for DevSecOps services. Officials want to find potential sources with the necessary skills.
These services would be built in the USCIS Amazon Web Services hosting environment and other cloud environments. They will provide support in developing applications to use DevSecOps and Agile methods.
The agency noted that a potential solution might include a continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline in AWS, using Docker containers. In addition, it would need all of the code necessary to run the application and pipeline.
USCIS released the sources sought notice Jan. 11. Responses are due by Jan. 23.
