Concurrent Technologies Corp., Southwest Research Institute and the University of Dayton Research Institute have won spots on a $49 million Air Force contract for research-and-development related to alternative energy.

Winners will compete for task orders to support the Air Force Alternative Power and Technology Office.

The Air Force wants to accelerate implementation and the transition to energy efficient and alternative energy technologies.

The contract runs through January 2025. Four bids were submitted.
