GSA, CFO council want data on SaaS financial management solutions
GSA and the Chief Financial Officers Council are looking for feedback on how a SaaS solution can help agencies with financial management.
Federal financial management officials are evaluating commercial software as a services solutions to determine whether they can improve agencies’ operations.
GSA’s relatively new Unified Shared Services Management Office and the Chief Financial Officers Council released a new request for information to gather information from companies about their solutions.
Among the questions, they want details about currently available solutions and who is using them. They also asked industry about best practices and potential hurdles in shifting to new SaaS financial management solutions. They asked which government business processes should be standardized to better use an SaaS solution.
The RFI was released Sept. 14. Responses are due by Nov. 10.
