DISA floats financial management contracts for small businesses
DISA is developing a pair of small business contracts for financial management and support work.
The Defense Information Systems Agency is considering how it will re-compete its Financial Management Operations and Systems Sustainment Support (FMSS) contracts.
DISA released sources sought notices Sept. 5 to small businesses. One notice specifically reaches out to small companies in historically underutilized business zones (HUBZones). The agency is checking on the technical capabilities of small firms to handle the FMSS’s work.
The current FMSS contracts are five-year, $50.4 million firm-fixed-price, single-award Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contracts. Deloitte is one incumbent and Itility is a second. Itility is a service-disabled, veteran-owned company.
The contractors provide professional accounting, financial advisory, audit and internal control advice and assistance. They also offer financial system services support, such as development testing of new enterprise resource planning capabilities to support the DISA Resource Management Center and Comptroller’s (RM) offices.
The deadline to respond to the sources sought notices is Sept. 26.
