NIH taps 22nd Century Technologies for Oracle support

22nd Century Technologies has been picked for a $29 million contract to support a suite of Oracle products.

McLean, Va.-based 22nd Century Technologies has won a $29 million National Institutes of Health contract to support a suite of Oracle software.

The small business won the three-year Operations and Management Support Services contract to support the NIH Business System.

Work includes operations support and maintenance of a variety of Oracle products including Oracle e-Business Suite and other products that are used for governance, risk and compliance, finance, acquisitions, supply, travel, project accounting, grants and other functions.

22nd Century Technologies also will support the NIH Business System information system security officers with tasks including accreditation, risk assessment, risk management, audit support and continuous monitoring.

The company was founded in 1997 and now works with federal agencies in 35 states, as well as supports a variety of large businesses.
