Education event puts focus on HUBZone firms
The Education Department wants to use more businesses in HUBZones and is planning an Aug. 11 event to highlight opportunities for companies in historically underutilized business zones.
The Education Department will host a conference in August for small companies in historically underutilitized business zones (HUBZones).
The conference will be Aug 11 at the Potomac Center Plaza in Washington, D.C.
Registration closes July 28.
At the event Education officials will present about programs and hold roundtable discussions to talk about procurement opportunities at the department.
The Education Department’s Office for Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization is hosting the event.
