Corps of Engineers plans small biz cyber contract

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to issue an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract for an automated controls and cybersecurity systems for engineering and design support services.

The IDIQ will be for five years, valued at $5 million, and is a total small business set-aside for two companies, according to a new presolicitation.

The IDIQ’s essential automation features include switchyard controls, remote dam operation, alarm processing, and spill gate controls. The IT services including networking and cybersecurity support, such firewall, router and communications device configuration.

The USACE did not give a date as to when it would release the solicitation.

The USACE posted the notice July 18.
