5 win $134M NASA IT contract
NASA awarded five companies places on its five-year $134 million indefinite-development indefinite-quantity contract to support Joint Operations and Integrated System Technology.
NASA awarded five companies places on its five-year $134 million indefinite-development indefinite-quantity contract to support Joint Operations and Integrated System Technology (JOIST).
The awardees include:
- Science Applications International Corp.
- Booz Allen Hamilton Inc.
- Cimarron Software Services Inc.
- Tietronix Software Inc.
- Rothe Development Inc.
Rothe is a certified woman-owned, HUBzone small business.
The contract will help the Johnson Space Center Flight Operations Directorate develop and sustain specialized IT software, systems, and provide support.
NASA’s JOIST contract consists of three parts: two single-award baselines and a multiple-award IDIQ component. The first baseline is for NASA’s Aircraft Management Information System (NAMIS) services. The second baseline is for Flight Operations Directorate IT and planning, integration and control services. This baseline is a partial small-business set-aside.
The work will include an upgrade and integration of NAMIS and a range of data management systems to aid all aspects of aviation and aircraft activities, including maintenance, quality assurance, technical publications and documentation, engineering, and operations.
NASA announced the award July 10.
