The Office of Personnel Management is looking for a systems integrator to support its efforts to give agencies a managed services solution for end-to-end human capital and training solutions.
In a new request for information, OPM wants companies’ ideas for a solution comprised of the integrator’s services, professional services, training, development and change management expertise, as well as technology capabilities, such as software and licenses.
In the project, OPM wants the integrator to orchestrate the implementation and integration of some of the technologies with disparate, multi-function administrative systems. The systems include financial, payroll and other downstream systems. The integrator will manage the complex interplay across various systems and stakeholders.
As the process moves ahead, the integrator must develop training content for the human resources solutions (HRS) service delivery.
The project aims to aid agencies with practical and economic workforce solutions and attempt reform strategies to reduce the federal workforce, based on the recent Office of Management and Budget April 12 memo.
Furthermore, these managed services will include state-of-the-art technology tools modernized for the workforce and work processes of the future. OPM expects the technology tools to be highly-capable Big Data solutions with focused analytical capabilities that will target data to agencies that request it.
OPM released its RFI May 15. Responses are due by June 14.
