Procurement veteran Claire Grady has been named undersecretary for management at the Homeland Security Department.
Procurement veteran Claire Grady has been named undersecretary for management at the Homeland Security Department.
She joins DHS from the Defense Department, where she has been the director of Defense Procurement and Acquisition Policy since June 2015.
Grady also has held senior procurement posts at the Coast Guard and DHS. She also is a member of the Defense Acquisition Board.
The DHS management directorate is responsible for budgets, procurement, human resources and IT systems.
