The contract will include developing, implementing, maintaining and enhancing the automated systems supporting NRL’s Human Resources Office (HRO).

NRL officials will host an industry day event May 12 to provide interested companies more information about the proposal. NRL and HRO officials will give brief presentations.

Along with the work on automated systems, tasks will include:

  • Network and server administration and support
  • Application program design and development
  • On-site program management services
  • Upkeep of certification and accreditations for the NRL, including the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), which is for unclassified systems.

According to the draft request for proposals, NRL notes that officials will weigh more on technical evaluation factors than cost when considering proposals from vendors.

NRL released the draft solicitation April 19. Responses are due by May 4.
