Salient CRGT launches commercial software business

Salient CRGT sees enough opportunity outside the public sector market to launch a commercial division built around three of its software products.

Salient CRGT has launched a commercially focused business unit as it looks to expand offerings outside of the public sector.

Larry Rose, senior vice president of contracts and procurement, has added management of the commercial business to his current responsibilities.

Salient CRGT’s commercial business is built around three sets of software products it has developed: Appix Financial Services, Assure6i Cyber Security Solutions, and Voyager Mobility Solutions.

The company’s commercial division will target financial services, law enforcement and remote workforces.

Rose joined the company in 2010 as vice president of contracts and procurement. He recently authored the book The Human Side of Virtual Work: Managing Trust, Isolation and Presence.
