HPES gets tapped to support Navy enlistment systems
HP Enterprise Services picked up a $41.7 million contract to provide technical support and engineering services to the Navy systems that manage the enlisted personnel classification program.
HP Enterprise Services has won a $41.7 million contract to provide technical support and engineering services to the Chief of Naval Operations.
The task order contract will support the Navy Selection and Classification office. The office works with enlisted seaman and operates the enlisted personnel classification program.
Among the services, HP will be supporting the enlisted force management systems and selection and classification standards and policies.
Most of the work under the five-year contract will be done in Plano, Texas, (70 percent), Arlington, Va. (20 percent) and Millington, Tenn. (10 percent).
The contract runs through February 2022.
HP only competed against one other company for the contract.
