Dominic Cussat will become acting chief information security officer, drawing on his experience leading the VA Enterprise Cybersecurity Strategy.
Roopangi Kadakia, who was the department’s chief information security officer, will now help lead the agency’s ongoing cloud transformation as an expert in the Enterprise Program Management Office.
The changes were announced in a Feb. 1 email from Rob Thomas, Council’s temporary replacement. “The leadership changes set [the Office of Information and Technology] up for success in modernizing our systems and eliminating our material weaknesses,” he said.
