SPAWAR looks for new security, management systems
The Army has released a sources sought notice looking for a better way to deliver services for security and management systems as well as C4ISR/IT solutions.
The Army is gathering feedback from companies on a streamlined delivery of services for security and management systems and Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, and Information Technology (C4ISR/IT) solutions.
The Army’s new sources sought notice is in support of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Centers in Germany and Italy and could lead to a five-year, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract.
The work would include engineering development, designing, procurement, fabrication, configuring, integrating, installing, logistics, maintenance, and life cycle support solutions for various systems.
In addition, the contractor would need to provide functional and technical expertise for a wide range of systems related to access control, intrusion detection, video management, physical security information, and command and control equipment. Work will include industry partnerships as well as expertise to aid in designing, installing and integrating enterprise IT systems.
The anticipated award date is expected in late fiscal 2017.
The services will be based in Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia.
The Army released the notice Feb. 27. Responses are due by March 20.
