General Dynamics IT has won a $16 million task order to support the intelligence directorate of the U.S. European Command.
General Dynamics Information Technology has captured a $16 million task order to support the U.S. European Command’s intelligence directorate.
The command covers all of Europe, and parts of Asia and the Middle East. It also oversees military operations in the Atlantic and Arctic oceans. The command is responsible for U.S. relations with NATO.
The task order was awarded under the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Enhanced Solutions for the IT Enterprise, or E-SITE contract. E-SITE is a large multiple award contract vehicle with a $6 billion ceiling.
Under the task order, GDIT will provide IT, web architect, content management, planning and documentation support services to the intelligence directorate, also known as ECJ2.
Most of the work will take place in Europe and other areas where the command is deployed.
A GDIT executive described the work as “vital combat support services” in a company press release.
The company has supported DIA for more than 30 years.
