Grant Thornton appoints new senior strategist in Cyber Risk Advisory practice

Grant Thornton has appointed John Lainhart to the position of senior strategist in the company’s Advisory Services business within its Cyber Risk Advisory practice.

In his new role, Lainhart will lead the development of Grant Thornton Public Sector’s cybersecurity offering.

Before retiring in 2016, Lainhart was IBM Global Business Services’ U.S. Public Sector Cybersecurity & Privacy leader. He also spent time with the Government Accountability Office, the Office of the Inspector General and the Transportation Department.
