Northrop Grumman wins $22M engineering, logistics contract

Northrop Grumman has won a $22 million contract to provide engineering and logistics services to the Navy.

The base value of the contract is $15 million.

The contract supports the Air Dominance Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division.

Services under the contract include engineering, test and evaluation, interoperability, technical, computer programming, and specified logistics services.

The Defense Department said in a release that the services will support the division’s AEGIS combat system as well as other major weapons systems, test and evaluation and post-event analysis.

The contract is part of the foreign military sales program, and includes sales to the governments of Norway, South Korea, Spain, Bahrain, Italy, Australia, and Japan, the Defense Department said.

Work will be performed at Port Hueneme, Calif., and is expected to be completed in January 2018.
