CenturyLink wins $11.4M contract to provide Senate with VoIP service

CenturyLink has won an $11.4 million contract to provide the U.S. Senate with a unified, communications-as-a-service platform for hosted voice-over-internet-protocol service.

Under the contract, CenturyLink will install, maintain, operate and manage hardware, software, training and help desk support to provide VoIP service to more than 450 Senate offices in all 50 states.

The contract includes options that could boost its total ceiling to $26 million over a total of seven years.
