CACI International has won a $31 million modeling and simulation task order with the Army’s Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center, Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate.

CACI International has won a $31 million modeling and simulation task order with the Army’s Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center, Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate.

The task order was awarded under the company’s R2-3G contract vehicle.

The directorate conducts research and development of advanced night vision and other sensor technologies like infrared weapon sights, and long-range surveillance and target acquisition systems, CACI said in a release.

Under the contract, CACI will provide training systems that will enhance readiness of tactical units and yield improved situational awareness to Army brigade combat teams, the company said.
