Azure Summit Technology has won a $48.5 million contract with the Navy to support the Common Chassis Signals Intelligence sensor.
Azure Summit Technology has won a $48.5 million contract with the Navy to support the Common Chassis Signals Intelligence sensor.
The Common Chassis Signals Intelligence mission sensor is used on manned and unmanned platforms in support of multiple Navy missions.
The Defense Department said in a release that the sensor will be used for ISR support on each platform including identification and localization intelligence derived from electronic signals and systems that may include foreign targets, such as communications systems, radars, and weapons systems.
Work will be performed in Melbourne, Fla., and Fairfax, Va., and is expected to be completed in December 2021.
