Contract award activity slowed its roll in October—the first month of the federal fiscal year—with Washington Technology reporting on an even 40 awards.
September’s 72 awards number was record-setting, though not unexpected.
October 2016’s 40 awards is also less than October 2015’s 49 awards. Washington Technology has covered 494 awards so far this year, compared to 498 awards at this point last year.
