Who are 2016's best execs and companies?

The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and Professional Services Council have named the winners of the 2016 Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards.

Come to be known as the “Academy Awards of Government Contracting,” the awards honor both companies and executives who have distinguished themselves in the industry during the past year. They are judged on their financial and operating performance, and contributions to employees, the community and the GovCon industry.

In addition to the winners, NVCC and PSC inducted Donna Morea into its Hall of Fame, Morea becoming the first female inductee after spending more than three decades at American Management Systems, which was acquired by CGI. She also serves on the board of SAIC and SunTrust Bank.

Frank Kendall III, Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics at the Defense Department, was also honored with the Public Sector Partner Award.

InCadence Strategic Solutions was picked for project of the year for a mobile fingerprint reader and fingerprint identification solutions it developed for the FBI.
