Leidos has won a $71 million contract to continue its support of the Army’s Saturn Arch platform.
Leidos has won a $71 million contract to continue its support of the Army’s Saturn Arch platform.
Saturn Arch is an aerial IED-neutralizing platform that was transitioned from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to the Army in 2014, the Army said on its website.
The Saturn Arch program began in 2010 and is an airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platform that uses state of the art sensor technology to spot IEDs and other other dangers on the battlefield.
Under the contract, Leidos will provide operations, sustainment and integration support.
Work will be performed in Bridgewater, Va., and Afghanistan and is expected to be completed in September 2019.
