Eight win $285M contract to support Energy Information Administration

Eight companies have won spots on a $285 million contract to provide the Energy Information Administration with program management, technical expertise and survey operations support.

The winners are:

• CSRA
• Edgewater Federal Solutions
• ICF Inc. LLC
• IMG-Crown Energy Services JV
• The Kemtah Group
• Leidos
• Z Inc.
• Zolon Tech Inc.

The Energy Information Administration is part of the Energy Department and is responsible for collecting and analyzing data on energy use and production. The data is used to promote sound policymaking, efficient markets, and public understanding of energy and its interaction with the economy and the environment.

Under the contract, the companies will provide program management, survey operations, energy analysis and modeling, information technology support, product/service development production and marketing and organizational support, according to Deltek.

The contract had four incumbents, Deltek said, three of which—IMG-Crown Energy Services JV, Leidos, and Z Inc.—won their recompetes. The fourth, Chenega Corp., did not win the recompete.
