Alion Science and Technology appoints new COO

Alion Science and Technology has appointed Bruce Samuelsen to the position of chief operating officer.

Samuelsen joined the company in 2005 when Alion acquired John J. McMullen Associates.

Since being at Alion, Samuelsen has led both technical and business development organizations and was most recently named special advisor to Alion CEO Bahman Atefi, the company said in a release.
