Two win task orders to support intelligence media exploitation center

22nd Century Technologies and Berico Technologies have won task orders to support the Defense Intelligence Agency’s National Media Exploitation Center.

Two companies have won task orders to support the Defense Intelligence Agency’s National Media Exploitation Center.

The winners are:

  • Berico Technologies - $38.9 million
  • 22nd Century Technologies - $12.6 million

Under the orders, the companies will support the National Media Exploitation Center’s information technology requirements.

The center’s mission is to coordinate FBI, CIA, DIA and NSA efforts to analyze and disseminate information collected from paper documents, electronic media, video tapes, audio tapes and electronic equipment seized by the U.S. military and intelligence community in Afghanistan, according to the IT Law Wiki.

The task orders were awarded under the DIA’s E-SITE contract.

Thirteen companies bid on the contract, the Defense Department said in a release.
