Motorola Solutions has been awarded a potentially $41 million option to provide lifecycle sustainment to a Naval Facilities Engineering Command radio system.

Motorola Solutions has been awarded a potentially $41 million option to provide lifecycle sustainment to a Naval Facilities Engineering Command radio system.

The base value of the contract is worth $20.5 million.

Under the contract, Motorola will be supporting the Command’s Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Ashore Program Enterprise Land and Mobile Radio system at various installations award.

Motorola will provide preventative maintenance of hardware and software; response and resolution of service calls for corrective maintenance to include equipment repair, overhaul, or replacement; asset and configuration management; password management; and software upgrade installation, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work is expected to be completed in December 2017.
