Cherokee Nation Technology Solutions has won a $17 million contract to help a Defense Health Agency organization conduct health surveillance efforts.

Cherokee Nation Technology Solutions has won a $17 million contract to help a Defense Health Agency organization conduct health surveillance efforts.

The contract supports the Defense Health Agency’s Healthcare Operations Directorate Public Health Division Armed Forces Health Surveillance branch.

Under the contract, CNTS will maintain infrastructure, respond to inquiries from the Defense Department medical and health authorities and analyzing and interpreting information related to the health and fitness of the U.S. armed forces, the Defense Department said in a release.

CNTS will provide scientific, professional, administrative and information technology support services.

Work will be performed in Silver Spring, Md., Aberdeen, Md., and Dayton, Ohio, and is expected to be completed in September 2017.
