Harris Information Technology Services has been awarded a $10 million option to provide another three months of operations, maintenance and logistics of the Air Force Satellite Control Network.
Harris Information Technology Services has been awarded a $10 million option to provide another three months of operations, maintenance and logistics of the Air Force Satellite Control Network.
The Air Force Satellite Control Network provides command, control and communication for space vehicles, according to the Air Force’s website.
Harris was awarded the Network and Space Operations and Maintenance contract in 2008 to provide operations and maintenance support to several Air Force bases, according to the company’s website.
Work is expected to be completed in December 2016.
