Former CGI exec named to GovCon hall of fame

Donna Morea, former president of CGI Technologies and Solutions, is the first female named to the Greater Washington Government Contractor Hall of Fame for her contributions to the industry.

The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council announced Morea’s induction along with the other 2016 Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards finalists at a reception on Thursday night.

In addition to Morea, Frank Kendal, Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics at the Defense Department will receive an award.

The finalists and winners along with Kendal and Morea will be honored at the annual awards dinner Nov. 1.
