American Electronic Warfare Associates wins $91.3M engineering contract

American Electronic Warfare Associates has won a $91.3 million contract to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

American Electronic Warfare Associates has won a $91.3 million contract to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

Under the contract, the company will provide engineering, management and technical services in support of the division’s Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test Department.

The department is NAVAIR's lead for the development and creation of synthetic and virtual battlespace environments in support of research, development, testing, training, systems evaluation and experimentation, according to the NAVAIR website.

Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in August 2020.

Three companies bid on this contract, the Defense Department said in a release.
