NCI Inc. wins $76.8M task order to help CMS with fraud detection
NCI Inc.’s subsidiary AdvanceMed has won a $76.8 million task order to provide fraud, waste and abuse detection and prevention activities for Medicare and Medicare claims processed in the Midwest.
NCI Inc.’s subsidiary AdvanceMed has won a $76.8 million task order to provide fraud, waste and abuse detection and prevention activities for Medicare and Medicare claims processed in the Midwest.
The task order was awarded under the $2.5 billion Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Unified Program Integrity Contractor contract, the company said in a release.
Under the task order, which has a one-year period of performance and four option years, the company will perform analyses of claims data and work to refer and resolve issues for Medicare and Medicaid, in addition to detecting and deterring risks stemming from billing approaches and electronic health records.
