CenturyLink has won a $29 million contract to provide disaster recovery services to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

An independent bureau of the Treasury Department, the OCC charters, regulates, and supervises all national banks and federal savings associations as well as federal branches and agencies of foreign banks, according to its website.
Under the contract, CenturyLink will help the OCC develop and manage a secure and cost-effective disaster recovery service for its mission-critical systems by providing a dedicated, on-demand server environment to ensure the continuity of operations in the event of a disaster, CenturyLink said in a release.
