7 capture $142M DCMA support contract

Seven of 10 bidders have won spots on a $142 million Defense Contracts Management Agency contract for sustainment and modernization efforts.

he contract is known as the Mechanization of Contract Administration Services, or MOCAS, and has a two-year base, four two-year periods for a total run of 10 years.

The winners will compete for task orders to support the overall lifecycle management of the contract administration process.

The seven winners are:

  • Booz Allen Hamilton
  • CSRA (which won under the name CSC Government Solutions)
  • HP Enterprise Services
  • IBM
  • Net-Centric Enterprise Solutions
  • Solutions by Design II
  • Ventech Solutions

DCMA received 10 bids during the competition.

The system supports DCMA and the Defense Finance and Accounting Services and is used to manage and pay out on Defense Department contracts.
