SAIC taps interim CFO as company continues search for permanent replacement

Science Application International Corp. has appointed Maria Bishop interim chief financial officer, effective July 1.

Bishop is taking over the role until the company finds a permanent CFO, a search that began when SAIC announced current CFO John Hartley’s departure in March, SAIC said in a release. Hartly is leaving to return to his home on west coast after spending four years traveling back and forth between both coasts.

Bishop began working at SAIC in 1998 and has been a member of the corporate finance team for the past decade.
