Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has won a $17.8 million contract modification to continue its support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s Tactically Exploited Reconnaissance Node (TERN) program.

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has won a $17.8 million contract modification to continue its support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s Tactically Exploited Reconnaissance Node (TERN) program.

The TERN program combines land- and sea-based approaches to supporting airborne assets with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

This modification brings the total value of the contract to $150.2 million, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., Mojave, Calif., East Aurora, N.Y., and Benbrook, Texas, and is expected to be completed in December 2018.
