Aegis, which means shield in Greek, is a command and control system that uses computers, radars and other systems to track and guide defensive and offensive weapons.
Under the options, Lockheed will support AEGIS modernization programs and provide logistics and sustainment support in order to prevent delays in upgrades, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work is expected to be completed in June 2017.
