Booz Allen Hamilton adds VP for external affairs

Booz Allen Hamilton has appointed Craig Veith vice president for external affairs.

In his new position -which was just created at the company- Veith will be responsible for managing the firm’s government and media relations and social responsibility functions, the company said in a release.

Most recently, Veith was the principal and founder of Sound Resources, a public affairs and issues management firm. He also served as the president and CEO of Direct Impact and was communications director for the National Republican Congressional Committee during the 1996 election cycle.

He has more than 30 years of communications and public affairs experience.
