April’s 47 awards might be down from last month’s 57 awards, but the number beats out the number of April 2015 contract awards when we reported on 41.

To make the list in April, you had to have a contract with a value greater than $128.8 million. April’s contract roundup threshold is lower than March’s $179.9 million threshold, which was the largest of 2016 so far. February’s threshold was $46.7 million and January’s was $99 million.

March was a great month for Engility, who nabbed two of the top 10 spots, as well as Raytheon, who also captured two, but one was a spot on a multiple award contract.

10. Veterans Technology wins $128.8M advisory, assistance contract

Veterans Technology $128.8 million contract to provide advisory and assistance services to the Missile Defense Agency.

9. Serco takes $131M Navy contract from Leidos

Serco Inc. has weathered a protest challenge from incumbent Leidos to take a $131 million contract to support the Naval Facilities Engineering Command.

8. Engility wins $102M in intell contracts

Engility has won four contracts with the intelligence community totaling $102 million.

7. L-3 scores $200.3M warfighter readiness contract

L-3 Communications Link and Simulation Training Division has won a $200.3 million contract to provide the Air Force with warfighter readiness and training research.

6. Millennium Engineering and Integration wins $235.4M advisory, assistance contract

Millennium Engineering and Integration has won a $235.4 million contract to provide the Missile Defense Agency with advisory and assistance services.

5. Engility wins $247.9M contract for advisory, assistance services

Engility Corp. has won a $247.9 million contract to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

4. HP Enterprises wins $443.2M IT support contract

HP Enterprise Services has won a $443.2 million contract to support the U.S. Strategic Command.

3. 12 win $800M contract for Navy command, control program

Twelve companies have won Navy contracts worth a total of $800 million to support the Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare Command and Control program.

2. Three win spots on $809.5M contract for process improvement services

Three companies have won spots on a potentially $809.5 million contract to support the Naval Supply Systems Command Business Systems Center.

1. Raytheon nabs $1B contract to provide next-gen jammer

Raytheon has won a $1 billion contract with the Navy to design, manufacture, integrate, demonstrate and test 15 Next Generation Jammer.
