Vencore captures first task under $460M cyber command contract

Vencore is the first out of the gate winning an $89 million task under a U.S. Cyber Command contract for mission support work.

Vencore Inc. has captured one of the first task orders under a new $460 million multiple award contract for the U.S. Cyber Command.

Vencore’s task order is worth $89 million and came just days after the contract was awarded. Work begins in June.

The contract covers mission support services such as knowledge management, cyber operations, planning, research and development, training, cyber exercises and other services, according to solicitation documents posted on Deltek.

Vencore’s particular strengths are in cyber engineering, cyber operations and cyber solutions protecting platforms, enterprises, and systems, the company said.

The overall task order contract had six winners including Vencore. The winners are:

  • KEYW Corp.
  • Vencore
  • Booz Allen Hamilton
  • Science Applications Interational Corp.
  • CACI International
  • Secure Missions Solutions LLC

The companies will compete for task orders over the life of the five-year contract.
