SRI International has won a $9.5 million contract to provide software and hardware to the Air Force.

Under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, SRI will provide automated media integrity assessment software and hardware, which the company will develop in order to help the Air Force determine the integrity of an image or video, the Defense Department said in a release.
The company will also work to integrate these technologies in a visual media forensics platform.
Work will be performed in Menlo Park, Calif., and Princeton, N.J., and is expected to be completed in May 2020.
Thirty-eight companies bid on this contract, which was contracted out by the Air Force Research Laboratory.
